About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an analytically oriented person to join our People and Safety team in this newly created support role. Interacting with a wide range of internal stakeholders, you will provide systems analysis, administration, and co-ordination to support the effective and timely delivery of the Port's HR, Training and Safety plans, frameworks, and procedures. A key objective of the role is to continuously improve people and safety systems and processes and to support the Safety Team with safety trend analysis and reporting.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to stretch and develop your systems support career within a complex environment.
You gain great satisfaction using your existing analytical and technical systems competencies to build out written documents into electronic versions and workflows that make life easier for users. Your collaborative style means you can “demystify” systems and processes for end users. You can also proactively engage with front line managers and translate their feedback into effective People and Safety documentation and systems. You also have a natural bent for process mapping and have solid knowledge of Power BI report writing.
As well as being a self-motivated, can-do person, you would ideally have:
• A relevant Business or related tertiary qualification (preferred).
• Previous experience in an analyst or similar role.
• Ability to take information and transform it into systems.
• Experience with training/safety management systems and reporting.
• HRIS experience(desirable).
• Ability to plan and organise effectively.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Advanced level computer user skills.
